The start of the winter flight schedule sees Transavia France expanding its routes at BER to include two winter sun destinations in Morocco. The airline has been operating two flights per week to Marrakesh since 26 October, with services on Thursdays and Sundays. Starting 30 October, Agadir will be added to the network, also served twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays. Both destinations are attractive sun destinations for holidaymakers who want to escape the cold season.
In addition, Transavia France will continue to operate flights to Nantes and continue to fly several times a day to Paris-Orly Airport. Nantes is included in the winter flight schedule for the first time, with two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays. The year-round route to Paris-Orly also provides good connections within France and to many European destinations.
“Transavia France is expanding BER’s route network with two attractive connections to Morocco, offering travellers from the capital region new opportunities for a winter break. Major French cities remain easily accessible for tourists and business travellers with regular flights to Nantes in winter and stable connections to Paris. This means that Transavia France is making an important contribution to further strengthening the quality of the BER network,” emphasises István Szabó, Chief Operations Officer of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.
“We are very proud to introduce these two new routes from Berlin to Morocco. At Transavia France, our mission is to offer more travel opportunities at affordable fares, without compromising on service and reliability. These new connections to Marrakesh and Agadir mean we are strengthening our presence in the German market while responding to a growing demand for sunny and culturally rich destinations. We are delighted to work hand-in-hand with Berlin Brandenburg Airport to make these routes a success and give our passengers even more reasons to choose Transavia.” Julien Mallard, Chief Commercial Officer of Transavia France.
